Not trying but it comes out on its own! Because their fundamental understanding of how system works deep down has not changed over all these years. Salem has elements which show that they attempted to escape from Haven's bottlenecks and clogging of design artifacts.. but overly ambiguous understanding of fundamental is emerging and changing Salem back to Haven.
This is not a condemnation but what I see as objective state of affairs. I support them as creators and believe they are doing their best.

I disagree. Did not you see the screenshot of YGM stash? 100% seeds i planted yesterday returned as 90% today. So they have virtualy unlimited supply of 90% material. Not to mention that even me, poor nobb alted 3 pure compost bins. How many good compost they have? I say they do not need that grind at all. I say they can make an army of 300 bile characters with their resources.

My normal (0%) compost bin produced with 10seeds of 96% cereals one 0% humus. How do i get the humus to purify trees to get the wood for better compost bins if the compost bins give out 0% humus? Is this a bug?

Exactly my thoughts. Just because you plant 100% and get 90% does not mean when you plant 90% you will continue to get 90%. It looks as if it will drop each time you plant until it levels out somewhere.

There are plenty of arguments for and against the update. But the biggest thing I have not seen anything mentioned about is the fact that with everything having some level of purity especially the supposed 35 - 40% water purity isaw mentioned is that this update will enable people to get far beyond the 500 humours people are complaining about and the fact that with 100% wood grinding raiders and proficiencies in general will become incredibly easy so once the top dogs grind the puritys now introduced they will be even more unstoppable

People who have high profs and high % seeds/humus now will only need to grow some trees.
A few weeks and they are in the same spot they are now.
The people who managed to get some seeds to 22% and humus to 12%, like me, are screwed for the foreseeing future.
This just turned to grinding proficiencies just to get some decent materials before you can even make some proper stuff which doesn't kill your already gained purity.

Several of us have been saying all along that this is HnH 2. Just because you guys didn't listen to us and thought it'd be something different....

---

I saw a comment early on about "what the gaming public takes seriously". Here's "what they take seriously": World of Warcraft, Oblivion, Fallout, Halo, Call of Duty. I'm sure you can look around the net and see just how serious the public takes these things. Please don't talk about what the public takes seriously, because, in my experience, the public doesn't take anything seriously. Speak from your own experiences and opinions. Don't speak for everyone unless you have some opinion polls or such proof in hand to make a broad statement.

---

I've seen all kinds of comments about "huge boosts" to established players. If anything, this is the biggest kick in the 'nads to them. They're the ones (if they raid) of losing humors that won't get replaced for months, if ever. They're the ones with little to nothing to play for now. (They certainly aren't going to be developing their main crafters or raiders any further any time soon.) For everyone else, it's just game as usual, but now there's signs of ways of increasing the quality of everything. The one advantage I can see of having a 400 humor toon right now is in defensive tactics as you won't have to lose anything.

Would I like to see the servers reset over this? Yeah, I would, but I'm not going to ask for it because there's just still a ton more to do and it'd be pointless. By the time that is all done, a reset is probably going to be pointless. (We're talking a few to several months down the line.)
