They've paid for it didn't they ?
Thats the same as a multimillionaire would pay 100.000 dollars he would be god in France to.

Donations/payements is different, they need it for running.

Someone already commented on this accurately. If they open a new server, there will be a mass exodus to that new server, basically destroying the other 3 servers. Why keep them at all?

So if the population on other servers gets low enough THEN they can be wiped. That's what jorb / loftar said in the past - they plan to keep opening new servers and wipe old ones if population gets low enough.
Also it was touched upon that the number of players on each server is already spread pretty thin. I do not think a new server would solve this problem in a meaningful way.

Well, it's up to jorb / loftar to decide, but how much more people can current servers hold? Is the current population really "thin"? New server is not supposed to solve population problems of other servers. It's supposed to give fresh start for people who wish for it. There's a reason why there were massive population spikes in HnH everytime new world started.

I was going to write some remarks but what's the point?

As far as I see it we now need 90% pure water, iron, clay and some left over humus to make new compost bins, on the plus side it's just a stop gap, a large one but still, when someone finally makes 100% pure boards we'll be right where we left off.

No. Nail quality goes into it and presently max purity on Ply is like.. 50-55%. Perhaps higher but still makes little difference. With this capping your **** even with 100% boards it will make 100 purity unattainable ever again. 55% mines are hard to come by as it is, and the difficulty goes up as your purity rods do so... GL finding the like 4 100% mines on the entire map. You better hope that they're all 4 elements and you better hope that you control them all

Last I checked, nails don't have purity, unless that was added in last update.

Technically they paid for items/silver in another server. So nope, that doesn't apply. They never signed any contract stating that the server would last forever.

Donations do not need reimbursement.

Far as I know they still don't, but there will be further updates and nail purity does affect this so my point still stands but it's just an issue that will come with the updates

Paradox said that we'd be reimbursed if there were a wipe iirc

They can say all the want, but unless a legally binding contract is made it means jack ****.

I guess it then depends now how much damage to player public opinion they want to risk.

They shouldn't then be surprised if players are a bit more tight-fisted in the future.
