You supported the Closed Beta purity "wipe", why do you sing a different tune now? In fact, you even took credit for being a major reason for why it happened.

because it was broken as ***** at the time for almost ZERO effort. They also wiped soon after.

Now new people are totally *****.

True that...im depressed.

I was going to write some remarks but what's the point?

As far as I see it we now need 90% pure water, iron, clay and some left over humus to make new compost bins, on the plus side it's just a stop gap, a large one but still, when someone finally makes 100% pure boards we'll be right where we left off.

No. Nail quality goes into it and presently max purity on Ply is like.. 50-55%. Perhaps higher but still makes little difference. With this capping your **** even with 100% boards it will make 100 purity unattainable ever again. 55% mines are hard to come by as it is, and the difficulty goes up as your purity rods do so... GL finding the like 4 100% mines on the entire map. You better hope that they're all 4 elements and you better hope that you control them all

Jorb, Loftar, with these kinds of changes, we absolutely need a wipe. The player base that controls the upper echelons of this game should not be in place purely because they had the fortune of joining this game before this patch. This patch has, as many of already said, greatly increased the disparity between <100 humour characters, and those beyond, and has ensured that they remain the most powerful players for MANY MONTHS. With the grind to high purity trees, preceding any chance at high purity farming, the grind has become ridiculous. For those players who have already spent 100s of hours grinding up their seeds to high purity, only now to have to grind trees, iron, etc is a slap in the face. Now, I think these mechanics are greatly improved over the system we had before this patch, however, this patch does NOT work well with the already established player base. Everyone saying this is a gift to the high powered characters already in the game are totally spot on.

Furthermore, My argument for a server wipe continues. A lot of the players who inhabit the end-game in Salem, have been playing since Alpha, and early closed beta. The game system has changed A LOT since then, and I imagine it will be changing drastically in the weeks to come. Now, these players have had access to the game since a time when you could have 20 fields in a 20x20 base, and purity farming was at its simplest. They were able to rob bases before defenses were buffed and waste claims were instituted, they had 100's more hours to explore and build defenses in the remote wilderness. They had access to the game during a time when bugs were rampant and systems were unrefined. It is completely unfair to allow these players to continue to rule the politics of this game. I do not feel it is fair to new players, who are joining this game while it is still in OPEN BETA, to have to compete with these old players in a system that makes it DRASTICALLY more difficult to attain these higher goals. Imagine how things are going to be when this game is retail released. Who is going to want to join a game, with a HUGELY difficult learning curve, with permadeath, and with a system that completely thwarts their ability to reach the same levels of players that are slicing thru their walls and destroying the progress they try to make. It makes no sense to allow things to stay the way they are. After a restart, I could see 150+ humours being the HIGH end of the advanced player base for along time. A server restart would allow this new, awesome, and much better system to influence the server from the ground up. There are a lot of butt hurt whiners who would not continue to play, but is it fair to allow these players to rule the landscape of the game, and ultimately crush the chances of new players gaining a foothold in this world purely because they started playing during a time when the game was unfinished? Honestly, as a player with a stall, and advanced base, a couple decent characters with mid level humours, extensive maps of the server, I would welcome a wipe. I think starting fresh with the new alchemy system would be great fun!

With multiple servers there is no need for wipe, since you can make new server instead. If there will be people playing on old servers then it still makes sense not to wipe them

I wouldn't care about a wipe. But I WOULD however care about getting reimbursed for my cash shop purchases afterwards

Someone already commented on this accurately. If they open a new server, there will be a mass exodus to that new server, basically destroying the other 3 servers. Why keep them at all? Also it was touched upon that the number of players on each server is already spread pretty thin. I do not think a new server would solve this problem in a meaningful way. Starting from scratch with this new system would put everyone on an even footing.

I totally agree with this. I have spent a decent amount of cash on this game.

That would work, but only if they wait with the reimbursement 1-2 months after the new servers have been opened. Reason being: if you are going to whine about things not being fair currently, then you can't be for the massive advantage early silver gets you during early server life.
