on a different note I just found out the horri lag of h&h has been fixed so i think I'm going to wait out the mentioned stop gap :-), I always thought h&h to be superior any way.

Just to be sure to start digging lime 24/7

Yes it does, I planted 95% cereal and harvested 72%.

That's actually not bad. I expected bigger drops. What purity was the humus used in planting? How many fields did you test? Even before update you could harvest like 85% crops from 95% seeds

So to grind wood (take salt for example) the following are the steps?
1) Build compost post, then drop purest salt in to get <1% humus
2) Gather salt lime clay and granite burn to make 1-2% gardening pots
3) Find salt water
4) Seed the pot with tree sprout
5) Wait 3 days
6) Plant tree
7) Wait 7 days until you can cut striking off of tree
8) Cut down tree, destroy compost, use boards go back to step 1

Am I missing something or is it really this silly?

Yeah, I'm seriously going to drop this game until it gets out of its teenage mood-swing beta phase that tends to wreak havoc on the playerbases's months of efforts .

Thanks Jofbtar for the free game, but no, not going to invest anymore time or the occasional support money in it.

Will come take a look once the game mechanics finally settle down.

Again, I just want to point out that expecting that your work ,and any goods earned through gameplay rather than cash shop, be protected in a beta, is like using real money in a monopoly game and expecting to turn a profit.

We're talking about an overhaul of one of the basic mechanics of the game. You should do something like that in an alpha. Not in a commercial open beta.

That's why I expected such fundamental changes would be done on new servers only. Still, better here and now than never ^^

humus was 10-30%, but not sure it wasn't important, so I just dropped on fields what was closest :/
