Its not me who is using an avatar protesting against some form of power abuse.

I'm not protesting about any form of power abuse. My avatar is there to show my in-game group affinity and to show that not everyone is paying/willing to pay the treaty.
Calling people jerks/evil/sociopaths/psychopaths/'bad-apples' irl because they are playing the game is at least weird. Because you are overly attached to your char/pixels in game it doesn't mean that others have to think the same. Keyword for you is: overly attached.

Its not remotely about the character or anything, as i said, i dindt lose nothing of value, my main is unscathed and everything is fine.

Its about people doing "evil" things online and thinking it doesnt make them "evil" offline (if you are willing to do anything who can hurt someone feelings, and you know that there is someone on the other side, you are at least a bit of a sadist). And worse, calling innocent players "thiefs" without any proof.

And i dont care a bit about you oppinion of me, or the entire foruns if it matters. My standarts are so higher, so i simply shrug and blame the masses ignorance for not undestand the entire point of situation.

1. Vtomal friends, Wullonde, alagar, and some of his IRL friends were summoned, killed, or punished by Darworth after they all left scents on one of his secondary towns after "dropping a canoe" while trespassing on his town, and also in surrounding newb camps. (I say we now call any major mistake made while thieving, "Dropping a canoe". It's to good a saying/excuse to let it die in this thread.)

Let's get this straight:

- We are not real life friends, we decided to play through a forum less than a month ago and without prior knowledge of the game.
- The first guy that was killed wasn't even summoned, he died with a single stomp while trying to escape and getting stuck in a coal pile.
- Regarding Darwoth's secondary town: it was not his town, it was not even a town! He just chases random scents and he found ours.
- Apart from the canoe, we were looking for a place for a new comrade, but to our surprise someone had claimed over an expired settlement a few hours before us and I was dumb enough to get my sled stuck inside it (again) while trying to move some unclaimed barrels.
- We wasted our iron to get larceny and retrieve both items, and that was our mistake. Nobody in our group had larceny before that.

Does that make us newbies? Yes. Thieves? I don't think so.

going to PM with this mods (I know: derail) but: LOL, I dated a girl from Rio once. My horrible Portuguese is based on her trying to teach me, and her not understanding much besides sex and Brazilian football. I love Rio girls, they're all crazy, but in a good way.

Don't worry, I'm not laughing at you. Getting raided sucks. A great Salem player once told me months ago "You are no longer a newb once you've been raided. You are no longer a beginner once you've lost your first character. Once you don't care if you are killed or robbed, only then have you really started playing Salem." I took that to heart back when.

Good luck and stick with the game. It's much easier to rebuild than to rage quit.
