Also do signs have any toughness to them depending on what they are and how complete they are? For example if you placed stone hedge signs and filled them with just one stone, are they harder to destroy than a wood pile sign with 1 branch? And does it make a difference if the 1 ingredient is "built" in or just placed in the sign ?

Kilns can be bashed by more than one person, which is why they're not ideal for walls, also there's a small unavoidable gap between them. You could put trees out front of the gap so they can either bash the kiln or the tree which would work out a little better.

If they're not built into the signpost they can just take out the item and then drop them to remove the sign. If it's built in they have to destroy it. As for time it takes, from my haven experience when you bash a sign with a lot of items in it, it will slowly remove built in items but not all at once. So I'd assume a 400/400 stone WM sign would take longer in Salem, yes.

Do you know the exact amount of health kilns have or their soak value?

Btw, don't use maple trees for tree walls. Their hitboxes are too large and more than one person can cut them down

Well... stupid enough to leave scents stupid enough to die hehe :D
Good luck on your new settlement, may this lesson teach you something

Such encouraging words mate, such words have made me many friends. As for a lesson, I think it would be less about leaving scents and what he should take away from this is all the tips about defense he has gotten from people here and perhaps he should get some friends in the future to live with him because one person can only do so much if you don't have the highest humors in the game.

A makeshift fence at your new bell, would have bought you another 24 hours.

No idea why you'd homestead something in the open like that...

There is an answear! When i left my old home i forgot to renounce my membership, so i could not start a new village. The idol up there is mayorless, so i could not build a fence around, as i was not part of the village, so i had to go back home and renounce, but just as i was about to start building they summon and kill me, so that's why, but true. A simpel fence would have bought me more time, but i am not sure i would want to run around more.
