Bugtracker

Postby sabinati » Thu Aug 02, 2012 4:33 pm

http://www.seatribe.se/bt/

This forum is for discussing bugs, determining if something is a bug or a feature, and various other discussions related to bugs; the bugtracker is a better tool for reporting bugs.

Note: do not report problems with custom clients here, use the appropriate threads for those (hint: they are located in the Artifice & Arcana forum).

Can't create an account? The activation email gave me an already outdated code and then told me to restart account creation 2 times in a row.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Question about the bugtracker.

If I get a Java runtime error message during a crash telling me "the error has been reported" along with where in the source code it happened, do I also need to report this bug via Bugzilla or not?

As far as I know, only the default client will send error reports for loftar to review. If you are using a custom client, switch over to default for a bit until you get the error(s) again.

It's better if you will add bugs with detailed descriptions (how to achieve at least), not just random crashes. Also try to find same bugs here (no reason to report GL 1280 errors and such, because they are already reported).

Plus there's a dedicated thread for these since 95% of them will be hardware or driver related on the client machine.

If you have a bug that hasn't been posted, you can post a new thread in this forum. (Please don't post bugs in this thread.)
