The Church of Jorb

[Sachaztan]

Father George, servant of God, is distressed by the lack of faith and the lackluster means of worship available to the few faithful. To help remedy this situation he will be holding mass and sermons in the Boston church of Roanoke. The sermons will be short and focus on one of several subjects, including: Heathens & Heretics, Vice & Virtue, The Tenets of The Faith and The Gospel. After every sermon he will be baptizing new converts and unbaptized faithful alike.

The services may be provided in conjunction with the sermons. They might also be provided at other locations and times, pm me or add George (hs=Pras Jorb). All services are provided free of charge but donations are always welcome.

The church is currently in the most need of:
-A donation of the new priestly garments
-Ministers to perform mass on Plymouth and Jamestown
-A Russian speaking minister to spread the word to and attend the Russian part of the Salem community

I recommend proceeding with caution in your faith, OP. Churches to Jorb the Omnipresent (He who Walks as Cthulhu, Eternal Summoner of Serpents, Harbringer of Thursdays), be they physical entities or gaggles of worshipers, tend to meet untimely ends. Jorb is a fair but apathetic deity and shouldn't be followed haphazardly.

The events I was referencing, and an incredible tribute. The moral of the tale of Coles' building: Jorb giveth, the Chief taketh away. You could also make a comparison to how high one should fly when their wings are waxen.

I believe that the actual message of that build is that you should never put effort into helping a community when they clearly lack the mental capacity to look ahead even a little bit in order to see that it's going to help with advertising and in the long-run, help bring people to the community. I made the church for the sole purpose of helping Jorbtar show off terraforming. #neverforgetcryeverytiem
