This is the kind of formula I was mentioning earlier. Once we have proper alchemy and purity mechanics in place for everything, I expect knowing the equations for complex recipes will be very important.

What about when potting a plant how is the purity calculated?

If I use 100% pure humus and then at 0% pure water, will the resulting plants be 50% pure?

I don't know the actual formulas, but currently (with 0% water) it's impossible to get pottables much over 10% pure (and for that you'd need close to 100% pure humus).
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
