One major and I believe simple change would be very nice is, when we level our claim the whole claim is filled with brown dirt ground, and that doesn't look nice, I was wondering if u guys can change it so if you don't pave where u leveled the land, grass should grow back so it won't look like a construction site, I also think that it would be more realistic that way, plz try to take notice of this.

Then it would be a good idea for them to make the grass grow faster, 1 week max at least=), because taking months for simple grass to grow is ridiculous.

If you're referring to how long it takes grass to regrow on dug up land... well, it can take years for the native grasses to fully cover a section of land. Had a house built two years ago and didn't worry about putting a lawn in because we're going to terrace it (saving a bit of money as it won't be a cheap job) and the sloped backyard is still only half covered in grass. Quality of soil makes a huge difference, and without that precious topsoil, nature has to make its own.

As it is, grass regrows into dug up tiles with the decay ticks. From what I've noticed, it spreads from existing tiles, so the area in the center takes the longest to regrow.

What's decay? It's a game mechanic to trigger a variety of things. Terrain of over lumbered areas changes to grassland. Natural damage is caused to buildings (so those unused lean-tos go away after so long). Other possible future game mechanics may use it (tree growth was tied to it in HnH).

Currently the regrowth mechanic is... odd. Sometimes open grassland will regrow the occasional bit of forest.

But Magic described it as it's probably intended :)
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Ahh, lol it's a bit confusing to understand but if the time of growth has a purpose, I'm not complaining =), I just thought if we can grow grass almost the same way we pave ground for earlier progress, would be a good idea also =)
