When PMP said you probably wouldn't respond well to feeding, it was in response to your dismissal of his rabbit in the garden analogy, the rabbit having been you. You insisted that if you found a rabbit, you'd feed it (which proves you've never gardened before because that's a sure-fire way to lose your garden, FYI). Given your rebellious tendencies, it can be understood that should the Tribe have fed you with food, as you had asserted you would have done to the rabbit (again, the rabbit being you in the metaphor), then you would have simply used "having been fed" continue resisting the Tribe.

Giving moral support to one side of a war, is very much aiding them and participating in the war yourself. You are not innocent.

As for being a threat:

You've very much implicitely threatened the Tribe as described by 1) and therefore you are a threat as described by 3). Whether or not you or anyone else considers the impact of your threat to be of relevant magnitude, is an entirely different matter.

As for the "carebear" debacle: I find it completely useless to use a simplistic children's term to analyze the nature of humans. To answer if someone is a carebear, one first needs to define what a carebear is, but at that point you realize that the term itself is redundant for discussion and the whole defining becomes pointless.

As for someone giving you up: unless you've made sure to never ever communicate with anyone in a friendly manner with a character that has is homestead at your base, you can't be 100% sure that none of those friendly encounters found your base and then gave you up to the Tribe.
