Thanks for letting us know but we stopped playing. We already took the most valuable things and while we are late we are curently just dropping everything and destroying the sheds/cupboards

Hello, mayor of Fort Kickass here.

Yea, as Danne said, we've pretty much stopped playing. In honesty, the last three or so months, it's practically only been three of us, grinding our seeds and combat alts. Losing this town is pretty inconsequential. It's the only one we have, sure, but we've vaulted all things of value.

As for the raid - it was done sometime during the last 24 hours I would imagine, while none of us were on. The scents all point towards the north. I'll post a map in a moment, for anyone wishing to poke about. The general world location of Fort Kickass, by the way, is in the extreme south and west of the world, by the invisible southern border and a 10 minute walk from the western darkness. Getting here from Roanoke is quite the task - Danne and I had a wander-walk from Roanoke towards the town for about 4 hours without getting anywhere near as far as we could see. I thereby assume that the raiders are local lads.

What was lost? Not sure. I didn't keep much valuables around. A rough estimate would be about 1000 silver (town tax chest plus my personal stash), a few ears of 60%ish wheat as well as 10~ bars of low-grade iron. My seed storage of high-end cereal, moderate cabbage and low everything else was untouched, so I imagine they have their own supply of good food. The infrastructure was mostly untouched - unharvested fields were still there, sheds were mostly in place apart from one or two, and only really the locked chests were gone. Considerate invaders, if anything.

The only thing I kind of regret losing, was the 61% purity dowsing rod I bought from akaVEGAS for 2k silver. However, chances are the raiders didn't notice its purity, as it was in the middle of a lot of random stuff in a locked chest - they might very easily have broken it looking for iron, then just skipped it. Even so, if they'd gotten it, I've used a lot of hours searching for metal with that to no avail - good luck to you guys.

My 11 personal braziers, two torch posts plus about 15 or 20 town braziers were disabled. In addition, thanks to our layered wall design, the raiders have probably had to cut through 10-15 layers of walls. I'd wager that their efforts on getting in was far higher than any reward they pulled out.

I don't really mind the town falling. I've for the last two months been fantazising about a server reset, simply beacuse I feel this game lacks anything to do once you've gotten to the town-level. Sure, you can raid, and sure, you can grow your crops, but that's about it really. The terraforming, gathering and building's been my favorite aspects in this game, not the "end game".

Anyhow, here's the map. Enjoy your hunt, rangers! Being sadistically vindictive and enjoying a good story, I do hope someone will take this opportunity gathering scents. Let me know if I need to log on to allow you onto my still-active personal claim for accumulation.

x0y0. This is the location of the village.

I have not been to [location] for about 3 weeks. At that time, a layer of stone walls had been errected - I expected it to have progressed into a vault by now. Sorry for that mistake.

If the scents are not yours, then feel free to post a map showing other vaults further to the [direction]. Anything to help ranging and storymaking would be good.

I can almost guarantee that they had nothing to do with this. I know them and know that they do not raid like this. The town, I don't know about. I do know where it is, but just past that town another 20 minutes WNW is the town of 'The Order of the Crimson Rose' which I have definitively tracked to 3 other raids North of you.

Did you actually and track the scent specifically. If you just saw it leading NNW then it's possible that the Order of the Crimson Rose has a raider camp on the north side. Please track them before posting their location and blaming them. I'm 99% percent sure that they did not do this.

Please Pm me for a screen shot or map to the Crimson Rosie's

Since the Russians are threatening me and my friends with exposure of things that don't concern me because they somehow in their lack of a brain or use of their eyeballs assumed I caught them with their pants down and exposed them. Anyways, screenshot to demonstrate the hate mail I've been receiving:

Anyways Danne and others, sad you guys quit playing. Just thought I'd post it here to warn ya guys. It was a decent size town, figured if no one was online, maybe someone or two would be checking in on the forums and see the heads up.

tweenprinc3ss wrote:Wow. Quite interesting. That is my island. It currently has ZERO braziers. Hardly a vault if u ask me. Now, why the scents led here is strange to me, however, my board piles got jacked last night as well. In thier place someone paved a big SB into the ground. I dug it out, but the remains can still be seen. Regardless, had i robbed your place I would not have led u to my uber totally undefended "vault". I suggest you talk to Chief Sitting Bull.

1. I did not jack your board piles. Don't need them.
2. Scent led me there.
3. SB was paved to let you know, I was there. I did not see it worthwhile to generate super fanfare on the forums.

I am your neighbor farther to the NW and some friends of mine also got hit, and an alt camp of mine got hit (see thread 'The Order of the Crimson Rose'). I can vouch for them loosing boards, and another loose claim got hit. A 1x1 farmer camp to the extreme NW along the mts also had his gates blown.

This is all the work of the town called 'The order of the Crimson Rose', They are past the town called 'Whatever', if your scents led to there then it might have led past them if you didn't circle the town. I am willing to port a new alt of yours to a home claim near their town. to see if they are the culprits. I can port a whole raiding crew to their location if you want. Please Pm me.

Did you actually get in a boat and track the scent to that island specifically. No, I did not get into a boat and track it. Tracking from town, it lead straight [direction], so not towards the northwest into the darkness where you claim the Order of the Rose or whichever has its base.
