Steam Version of Salem?

Are there any chances for steam version of Salem?

May Java core of the game cause a problem to adapt it to Steam?

I've seen other steam games with standalone launchers/updateres so I dont think it would that much a problem, regardless if it is a java launcher or not. Also, seeing as Paradox usually puts all their games on steam I wouldn't put it past them to drop Salem on there for 'official release', and who knows whenever that will be.
