Mh, what about rare variants of animal with higher purity meat than usual? For example, the march hare rabbit meat could have higher purity than the one of a normal rabbit. If we want them to be random occurrences while fighting otherwise normal animals, in the case of deer, they could take example from the Furfur. Or otherwise use distinguable variants of deers (there are also white deers, for example).
Not to talk about bears.
