Paradise isles sounds nice, but it really isnt in line with what I have seen from the devs so far. Maybe such a place forces its way into the open if we see more noobs flee from the game. How to explain the isles historically I dont know, but then again the game has strayed far away from history already.

A better idea would be to throw all these together with the current biomes for a large and dynamic world.

I'd be for biomed worlds if server transfer was readily available

What's the practical difference between biomed worlds with cross-server transportation, and single world with different biomes?

Worlds already have snow, desert, etc biomes. A server based in a more northern location could have more snow biomes than a more southern server. Only thing is that these biomes need to be given specific benefits before any of that

A gimped safe server could be nice. You must start here. You can only reach 20 or 30 in your humours. You are only allowed to go to the "real" game when this has been reached. Humour generation should be easy and fast if you know what you are doing. This will solve some problems:
1. The flight of the noobs.
2. Alt vaulting is no longer so attractive. Less alting alltogether.
3. The somewhat boring start will be cut shorter.
In this server you are reminded that you have to go to the real America soon and warned about its dangers and told of its treasures. Also tutorials. (Optional)

Cons:
Might be boring for veteran players to reroll in safe mode on the other hand increasing the humours here should be fairly easy.
You cant kill people in safe mode..

Pros:
When coming to the new world you will have the abiity to actually help out in a village from day one instead of just foraging for stuff.
Basic proficiencies aquired.
+above mentioned points.

I still can't see why you would need separate worlds for that. Besides worlds with transportation between them practically become one world.

It was possible in HnH and it didn't work. People created such villages only to lure newbies and kill them. I don't think any real village would like random newbies starting there

That was not my main point, you could also start your own place with a bit of headstart compared to how it is now.

Maybe if we want to teach newer players about proper defensive constructions, the newby-world should be opened up to raiding for one special hour every few days?
