This is not a thread about defenses and balance, its strictly about the conflict between Mushibag and the MM Tribe. No more derail please.

I think it is quite fine, considering the countless hours that were spent developing the base. If people are always around to defend the base, why do you think you should be able to get in? Trying to drain the braziers for over a day is a bit retarded when you know people can just refill them, and that is all you guys were trying to do. Then you were trying to break gates, so we rebuilt them, built more, and fortified them even further. Now you are trying to break the wall, our trap plan failed, and we repaired them.

If jorb just so happens to 'nerf' the defenses so that you guys could successfully break in when there are people online that are able to defend every so often, well that would be wrong. He could tweak the brazier mechanics all he wants, but taking away the ability to actively defend your base is never going to happen and it should have already been like this to begin with, not the other way around. People should not have to be online 24/7 just to watch their walls...Normal people have work, families, and need to sleep sometime.

tbh, I think you guys should glutton more and quit bringing 200 humour characters to a 500 humour siege before you try to **** all over the current system. I'm pretty sure that none of the 8+ people I have seen so far are even close to reaching any form of glutton cap.

edit: With the amount of people you guys have, couldn't some of you just hang out and try to prevent us from repairing the wall while the only real bashers you had went to regen? Everytime we went outside to repair our **** (on crafting characters), there was never any of you guys around. I think the problem here is that you guys aren't actively sieging us...Just doing lame hit/run/grief tactics, and then try to complain because it isn't working.

I remember the old h&h once you had a single brick wall and performed a patrol around it once a day looking for rams then it was all the defense necessary (warring the ram repair bug of course:-) ). A base left without maintenance will fall in a few days even if it has 10+ walls and hundreds of braziers. I agree with staxjax, the system now is as it should be.

i remember reading somewhere in this thread I think that in h&h there where factions apart form dis that held their own. I think it's because they had defense mechanics that allowed for a real defense. Even the chief said in one instance that him tearing through every thing like paper and leveling in hours what took months to build was wrong (in one of the announcement threads I think). Building a single stone hedge (not to mention the plank fence) takes many hours considering leveling and material accumulation, it should take more than 2 or 3 minutes to destroy it.

Forgot to mention the only problem that I see with the current (incomplete) system, is that we should not have to spam as many walls and braziers as we did just to stand any chance whatsoever of logging in once in awhile to be able to actively defend our base.

Nice i did not come to the new world to be oppressed by some ***** either and after seeing one guy being able to throw them of i will definetly not sign that treaty.

When you have a wall built around your place and are under siage i don´t think you should be able to teleport people or materials to your base that would force you out to fight or run out of supplys.

While that would be nice, it'd be impossible to do.

Connorville lives! I love that it still has it's name. :P

Don't ever change it Mushi, Connorville is a classy name I spent ages thinking of.

Side note: I think it's absolutely ridiculous that people need to call off work/prior commitments for the entire week in order to raid or defend their base from attackers.

As long as you are getting paid, who gives a ***** if you have to call off work to raid or defend.
