You can unstuck, just walk as far into the door as possible then north or south to get out from 'behind' the door.

Let that be a lesson. There is no such thing in this game as safe storage other than alt-vaulting. While perhaps you were an innocent victim here, you've made the mistake of seeing Boston as a safe place for your stuff.
Boston = devs' claim (with trespassing rights for every player). You should not leave in Boston what you wouldn't leave at your neighbor's claim. They don't need to announce any planned or unplanned alterations to the layout of capital cities.
