Coles, Ranger for the Treaty

So that was my claim in the original pic, or rather the claim of my main whom I cant log into for the last 48 hrs or so (see my post history viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3623). The seemingly AFK guy was a guy I made and used kin secret on another account to see if I could tend my fields Turkeys etc. I couldn't do anything as I didn't have permission from the original account and I couldn't even log out (presumably as I didn't have permission to trespass) so I simply shut the client down. That I assumed is why he was stood there.

I am/was a new player, started mid December and scavenged a lot of the stuff from nearby deserted claims. The treaty costs of half your PClaim value (175 silver per month) for that modest claim were/are quite simply beyond me and Ive never been close to owning enough silver to play that. Braves stating that you simply need to hunt for the 11 cricket inspiration to sell for Treaty costs are blatantly untrue. I'm sure once all of the contents of the chests etc have been added up this will verify my apparent newbish'ness and my fiscally challaneged situation.

Combination of no support for my password issues coupled with not being able to actually be around when this **** took place and a community that seems determined to drive everyone away and make the game die have made my decision for me.

I had fun until Midday Friday 11/1/13 when I stopped being able to log in. How apt that this all took place immediately after that.

175 Silver is approx 6 Savage Charms or 5 cricket teams. That is 55 crickets. Assuming you suck and it takes you a full minute per cricket you could have invested the ONE HOUR a month to be safe and have protection from all the dangers of the New World. You tried to pass off your laziness as some kind of excuse and now you have paid the ultimate price. Also the cost of that ore smelter alone was more than your Treaty payment so this is just yet another example of poorly managed priorities. You got greedy and wanted to build a smelter before taking care of your responsibilities. I doubt anybody is surprised at the fate of somebody so negligent in their gameplay.

Also unless you have a time machine it is impossible for you to know what happens November 1st 2013. and this event definitely did not take place immediately after that.

So I contacted the Chief about becoming a ranger for the treaty. I had found a few places and I was wondering if they had indeed paid their treaty or not. With the Chief's approval I began placing signs around at these bases telling them that they'd have 24 hours to pay their treaty or they would be raided.

Coles just gave me the motivation I needed to grind up a new character. He will pay for his treachery. I was willing to let it slide that he, as a former Gallows Hill member, caved in and paid the treaty, not to mention digging a hole for the reservation, but this new loyalty to the tribe is just unacceptable.
