Min System Requirements for Salem

Greetings,

Starting to work on a little fansite for Salem on my blog, and noticed there is no Min system requirements section for Salem on the main site area... I couldnt find anything.

So question for the community -

What do you believe the Min System Requirements for this game are in general terms>?

P4 or newer, 1GB RAM, must support OpenGL 1.4. I'm not sure what speed on said processor should be. If I recall right, P4s were as slow as about 1GHz. Otherwise, the requirements are Java 6 or newer. Any system built in the last 8 to 10 years should be able to handle this and thus the complete lack of system requirements. (I don't have a P3 running to try it on, else I would.)

edit: to note, most cards that support DirectX 9.0 should also have functioning OpenGL drivers that support 1.4. (There's a listing of graphics processors that aren't supported properly in the Bugs section.)

I play on 512 RAM, and its sticky. Task Manager shows memory usage between 1000 and 2000 max.

I have update.
On 512 Mb you will start crushing after virtual memory becomes more than 1 Gb. Boston needs 2-3 minutes to load, even not first try - crashes. You have sound lags, sometimes crashes when memory becomes big. in 10 minutes. The only option you can play is with lowgfx.res mod. Some buildings freeze your client. Sometimes you play Turn-Based Strategy.

On 1 Gb there will be sometimes crashes, maybe in half an hour. Or maybe not, also there will be no sound lags. On. When sistem comes to 2050 mb virtual memory, java crashes:
