cant log back in without losing everything

Postby Deacon » Wed Jan 02, 2013 11:50 pm

I was out exploring in my boat, lost connex in shallow water, but cant log back in, because "position is occupied'. only option is to lose all in inventory and log in at homestead, and lose boat in process as well WTF

It should of logged you in the boat. If not yeah you lost it all if you don't go find it.

Another reason why boats are not worth the trouble.

This is beta, you shouldn't be very attached to in-game items or buying silver for 300$ for example.
You'll going to lose everything including your boat I think.

You should not make random statements about stuff you know nothing about or have not researched.
The chances are there will be no wipe, even after closed beta finishes.
Its also been said, "IF" there is a wipe, people will get compensation / items back which they spend $$$ on.
So both of your statements are false / unjust.

On Topic:

If your in shallow water, all items will go "Plop" into the water and vanish.

Your going to lose everything, including your boat. Sorry dude.

why go off on people for no reason? Everything he said was true and the OPs was already answered. He said nothing at all about the wipe that will more then likely happen at some point.

Neither of you answered accurately.

He stated he was over shallow water, that means ALL items will go plop into the water. All lost, no hums or maybes.

So yea

Clearly answered with wrong/inaccurate information so i made sure he had the 100% correct info.

Hope this Clearly answers your question @ Deacon

This happened to me as well. However, the boat was still there when I logged back in (along with the chests I placed in it); yours could be as well.

I'm afraid your inventory is gone :(
