On another note:
I've made test version of client updater - it will replace java webstart with the task of downloading client, keeping it up-to-date and launching it. This will fix client freezes that occur because of bugs in webstart. I need people to test it on different platforms. You can grab it here. Just run this jar file and it should download all necessary libs and files and launch client. All files will be downloaded in directory where this jar file is, so don't run it from desktop, unless you want lots of garbage there :)



I cant start client with salem.jar. always using updater.jar but this time mapping starts from zero.I am instead of client I must remember the map :( Do I making something wrong?

I never have problems with the client until now. Recently, exploring, find a settlement. I come close and game crash. Now game crash every time I try start. I think is something inside that particular settlement.
Want the log?
And want to know if is normal some entries in ender-wiki crashes the game.
Want a list of entries? Is my old video card? (GeForce 6600GT 128 ram) I play few weeks and everything else is perfect.
I nearly forgot: I use the low res. mod too.

Edit: Yes, I can confirm that something in that particular settlement crashes my game. I use the normal client to move away and everything work again.

That settlement is probably abusing the 1x1 fields which causes some clients to crash.

You will have to get a mod for 1x1 fields so you dont crash. This is only what I heard, I have no idea where to get such a mod but your problem sounds exactly as I described.

I'm getting this crash. It's something about running out of memory. I have 8 Gb of it, so that's somewhat odd. However, I am on the move, searching for a new settlement, so I am seeing a *lot* of new terrain. Could it have something to do with the mapping?

Hey,

I'm having a problem that randomly crashes my game and i get for a little while after the crash a message saying "already logged in". After that happens i'm allowed to log in in like 1-2m. This happens multiple times.

I had the Java 7 and i downgraded already to Java 6 trying to solve although it didn't work.

If anyone has any ideas about solving it...

What is the keybinding for activating the Darkness tool? Or is that something separate from the client?
Did Claeyt shut up yet?
