No, the way you take over territory is doing enough damage or griefing your opponents into moving and abandoning the base.

While you are offline, somebody breaks into your base and destroys your bell, claims your ENTIRE village for themselves, and this is completely possible with a small group of decent statted raiders. That is not balanced.

If authority objects could be knocked down, what is the point of putting money in the town bell? There would be absolutely none. A village claim is bad enough compared to a pcalim already without making it worse.

No claims should be destroyable IMO. That is why the update came forcing us to pay our pclaim like we do our vclaims to stop them from becoming destroyable. They both should only be destroyable if they have run out of money.

who gives a **** if they break in and claim the base since the people that live there will log on their personal claims and spend 15 seconds taking out the bell, since you have to build the equivalent in authority objects as you need silver to declaim now it would take them a minimum of a day to build high enough authority on a new bell to take out any decent sized claims.

they would also have to destroy all of the old authority objects in additiuon to the bell as the new bell would not be able to be placed over them.

I agree with Darwoth. Any town bell that isn't destroyable is a bug. If not why not just make a border stone wall around a vault? Then it would be impenetrable and you could have an invincible character for just some silver each day.

If town bells were always destroyable, then why would anyone build one and feed it silver on top of feeding their pclaims? No point to a town if that was the case, just have pclaims.
