I've rebuilt the system on the test server. There will be three additional ways to stay thawed after the patch.

What you can do NOW to combat hypothermia
*Stay Indoors
*Drink Fish Broth
*Drink Meat Broth
*Drink Poultry Broth
*Cuddle up with a Blanket
*Make Fuzzy Earmuffs (low level skill) and other thermal clothes.

What you can do additional AFTER the patch
*Carry Torches or other heat sources in your hand
*Stand by Fires
*heat up stones in a fireplace and carry them in your inventory.


Where I do believe we failed though is the tutorial and help menus. As I do think the coldsnaps are quite combat-able with the right knowledge base.

its in live ? i can't put stone into fireplace ? :P

Not yet. It will be in the 'sunday patch' which I'm still trying to make a thing.

You can unfreeze him with a torch or a source of fire.
