Firefox Addons Help.

Postby Heffernan » Fri Mar 31, 2017 10:53 pm

Hey, tried to use Google Search but i get no help maybe someone here can help

im regulary using websites to stream stuff (legal ofcourse) and these sites like openload, vivo, flashx etc.. always open extra windows for online casino pages, porn and horrible chinese browser games

is there any addon or option to stop Firefox from letting any site automaticanny open spampages? adblock doesnt do that.

thx

I've always used adblock plus, and I never have issues.
It also lets you easily add sites as exceptions, for those sites that you do want to support through ads.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Consider using NoScript. It lets you selectively enable which scripts are allowed to run.
It is difficult to start using, you have to learn which script sites contain unwanted scripts, but is extremely efficient in stopping web bloatware.
