BREAKING NEWS THIS MORNING:

The Ukrainian 'Black Ledger' showing 12.7 million in payments to Paul Manafort from the corrupt government of ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych who has fled to Russia and is wanted for corruption in Ukraine has now been CONFIRMED after the release of documents today showing Manafort transferred payments matching amounts in the 'Black Ledger' to hidden accounts in Belize and Central Asia in an illegal money laundering scam.

The documents were released and reported on by a Ukrainian investigative reporting team and is the first confirmation of Manafort's illegal actions both in Ukraine and in his failure to disclose the payments in this country. The documents show a 750,000 money transfer sale to Belize through Manafort's company on the same date as the 'Black Ledger' shows an illegal 750,000 payment to Manafort from Yanukovych.

Manafort was subpoenaed in Ukraine this weekend to testify in a corruption investigation. He has not spoken to the press about it yet.

You're delusional if you think the FBI/CIA/NSA counterintelligence investigation will be over by next March.

I personally believe all of this is going to cost the Republicans the House (and maybe the Senate, but that's harder in 2018 due to so many Dem seats up) and at that point the Dem's will open up a well earned Tsunami on Trump.

I never said when I thought the investigation would be over. One hopes they'll be quick and efficient about it, but it could very well drag on for years. By which time it will have become a joke.

It's actually quite possible that the Republicans will lose the House and Senate, but it won't be because of these hearings. It will be because of not fulfilling their election promises. Trump and many of the Republicans in Congress ran on a platform of getting rid of Obamacare. If they end up not doing that (and it seems iffy to me that they will) they will lose all those swing voters, Congress will become majority Democrat again, and Trump will be free to be as liberal as he likes, which is pretty liberal. I'm honestly perplexed why so many liberals like yourself hate him so much when he is very much a big government guy who is only playing at being a Republican.
