Why not come up with logical, well thought out arguments instead of trying to "big words and bright colors" your argument at us? Interestingly, not shown here but I've studied it before, you may not know this but the 'College Degree Gap' which favored Republicans since the Civil War and grew smaller during Nixon's administration actually flipped during Bush 2's time in office. After that Obama carried the most people with higher ed degrees by small margins and it's now highly favored towards the Democrats after Trump. This is one of the longest studied trend lines in U.S. voting history.

Your articles aren't scholarly, peer-reviewed articles, Claeyt. I'm not sure how you can call these proof. But I did read them, every word of all five. The first three simply say that college graduates had a tendency to vote liberal and always have, but why isn't entirely clear. They also say that the correlation is a fairly loose one and that other factors for why people voted for Trump certainly made big contributions. Having earned a Bachelor's degree myself, I wonder if more education sometimes only makes people believe they are smarter than they are and can somehow see how they could make the world better if they could only force everyone to do as the say.

But that aside, there are other factors to consider. First, only about 27% of Americans have college educations, and "College graduates backed Clinton by a 9-point margin (52%-43%)", according to your third article. That may be a wider gap than previously but hardly overwhelming support for your claim that smart people are liberal while stupid people are conservative. Also, consider that all the smartest people don't go to college, you get some real idiots in college and you get a lot of really smart people with a HS diploma or less. So, your decree that Trump supporters must all be uneducated morons of low IQ is extremely bigoted, unsupported by anything, and an example of the Democrat tendency to put people in categories and then make broad assumptions about the group as a whole.

Your fourth article is no surprise to anyone. Fox News is the only conservative leaning television media outlet left, all the others are liberal. So, of course conservatives tended to watch Fox news. The entire article says much more about it and I suspect you cited it after reading only the headline.

As for your fifth article, I think you also read only the headline as the entire thing says that anyone who gets their news only from watching TV tends to be uninformed. The article asserted that watching Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC are all fairly uninformative and these people, along with those who got their news from the Daily Show, Sunday morning talk shows, listen to NPR or talk radio, or hadn't seen any news that week and simply guessed, all scored less than 1.6 out of 6 domestic questions correctly and less than 2 out of 4 international questions. Also, this survey only asked people about news they had watched in the last week, not long term, and it was an informal questionnaire and was not scientifically controlled. If anything, it implied that MSM as a whole doesn't keep people informed.

I'm guessing Committee to Reform the Beast is another somewhat satirical or sarcastic name. 'The Beast' is usually a biblical reference to wordly government (as opposed to heavenly government). So, with nothing to go on but the name, I'd guess it was a political club for those of a christian or a minority opinion (or both if surrounded by atheists).

this is yet another classic tactic of the communists, they first need to undermine traditional norms and beliefs, this can not be achieved to any measurable degree on normal people that have already become part of the society they wish to eradicate, as such they infiltrate the media and educational system and begin their brainwashing curriculum on the next generation while they are still young children. this is the true reason the left wants "free" college for everyone on the dime of someone else, so that more victims are shuffled through their poisonous echo chamber day after day month after month.

Back on the original topic. There's new information coming out about the Rosneft Oil bribery charge from the Trump Russian Dossier.

To review: One part of the partially unconfirmed Dossier included the shocking allegation that Rosneft, Russia's state oil company and it's CEO Igor Sechin offered Trump and his staff a secret 19% share in Rosneft if they dropped American sanctions on Russia and Russian Oligarchs. Rosneft then sold part of 19.5% of itself in December. Igor Sechin's aide, an ex-FSB general who was viewed by various intelligence sources as the go-between for Sechin and Putin was killed in his car in late December. He may have been payed for information by Christopher Steele and been the source of the bribery information on the dossier. The 19.5% Sale of Rosneft was supposedly to a Singapore based Shell company owned partially by the Swiss investment firm Glencore and also by the Qatari National Investment firm owned by the royalty and government.

So here's what's new from the article:

1. Rosneft and Sechin did not notify any of Rosneft's other shareholders about the deal until it was completed. It is being reported that Putin would have had approval over the deal.

2. Investigations are proving Rosneft has lied about who actually owns the share of the company sold. It's now been shown that Glencore only provided .5% of the funding of the deal instead of half and that the Qatari's funded only 2.7 billion of the 11 billion deal while the Italian bank Intesa provided an additional 5.6 billion to the deal. That left 1/3 of the funding for the 11 billion deal unaccounted for and also who controls how much or if it's being split up at all. Intesa's involvement may have broken the rules on European sanctions.

3. The ownership of the entire 19.5% percent stake has been traced to a hidden Cayman Island firm that can not be identified. All the companies have refused to identify how it will be split up if it is shared ownership based on money contributed.

I was a teacher for 8 years. I still do consultant work part time for State districts concerning students with physical disabilities and students with EBD and Learning disabilities.

Anywho,

White college graduates specifically DID NOT historically vote Democratic until around 2004. Historically they had voted by 3-5 pts for Republicans going back to the civil war. This of course was normal as Republicans were seen as business friendly and East Coast centered and most of the colleges and large businesses were based there. Democrats represented more rural, southern and western districts including those in agriculture and other non-college educated professions for the time. This flipped in 2004. That gap has been growing since then with this year's presidential election being the widest ever with Clinton beating Trump by 12 pts.

For historical context this club was happening as his mother was being fired by Reagan after the EPA was in full revolt after she tried to gut it and she was voted for 'Contempt of Congress' by the Democratic congress for refusing to turn over subpoenaed materials showing her utter mismanagement of super fund sites. She was fired in 1983, the year he created this club.
