Official client is also crashing? Have you updated your video drivers recently? If so, roll back to the previous version that worked and try again.

Official client works, the problem started out the blue I updated my drivers and still same issue. Note that I was playing fine recently with no issues up until yesterday 1-26-2017

changed drivers
GEFORCE GAME READY DRIVER

Version: 372.70 WHQL
Release Date: 2016.8.30
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit

using Nvida 650-TI boost and it seems to have FIXED my issue. Will report back here if it breaks again :P

Indeed, a driver rollback should fix the issues. There seems to be something fishy with the 378.49 driver and JOGL.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Just would like to note, I experienced the same issue with the latest Nvidia driver 378.49.

yup, this is specifically with 378.49. You can fix it by downgrading your drivers, using the default client, or calling the custom clients through a .bat file (see their respective threads, at least for mine).
