How many silver ore and lime do you put into the smelter to smelt silver efficiently?

not exsist that method This is more complex - it is a mystery
5 ore + 20 lime = one time give 2, other 3 bars

It almost never gives 3 bars, like never.
And without an alloying youll be getting more 1 bar than 2. Price of 200 silver per ore is not realistic.

nope, Nsuidara is referring to a bug using something i wont note here nor anywhere else, but wich has been reported to JC before but not fixed yet so he gets 4-5 bars from 5 ore

and you mistake... one time was raport this bug.. and JC change...
then someone (you know who) made new recipe for made 4-5 bars from 5 ore (other recipe)
now is more easy then before

You are right about price, silver bar is worth like a 500s-500s+
The 3th silver bar is rarery while smelting with proportions 5ore+20lime with really good alloying set
