Account may have been compromised

I redownloaded the game client recently, with hope that I'd start playing again on my old char.
Everything went fine until i logged onto my account and char to see that everything I had owned was lost (except stats). My char was in the main city, naked. My old homestead place was deleted and I can't understand what may have caused this, other than a security breach.
Never have I ever shared my Salem account/password with anyone.

My question is: Is there a way to check whether someone had accessed my account in the past (IP Logs)?

PS: I read something about stealing items via a leanto, but is it possible to steal equipped items using this technique?

There is a way to check this but more than likely no one has touched your account. From the leanto you can take EVERYTHING. Someone destroyed your homestead so you woke up in boston.
