If you live in Stockholm, Sweden I will meet you somewhere and deliver the pat and high-five. In other cases it will have to be a mental pat and high-five, which is equally good and nonetheless delivered by me

Also I'll be sure to give this a go, does anyone know a decent video editing program? I've been using the one that came as default with my computer but it's more than confusing.

For the ones asking for decent movie editing software, google is your friend i guess.

Windows Movie Maker can do it fine, but if you want to make more sofisticated ones, you can always try an Adobe Premiere &/or After Effects trial .
