oh well, sounds like a good thing to me. only a threat to afk people and even then someone will likely delve out the 10 hp it takes to kill it.

People have been using turkeys to aggro on people in Boston, too.

I don't know that guards are necessary. I think less pathetic animal AI would be sufficient :). Beavers shouldn't aggro innocent bystanders, and no animal should be so aggressive to follow a settler into town (unless it's domesticated via yet not existent domestication skills). The animals so far behave in completely artificial fashion. Even bears are very territorial, and therein should not wander from their territorial region. Non-predators should really only fight to defend themselves and then flee. Of course, they'd need somewhere to flee to, which is really getting off topic. No guards. Animals shouldn't follow so far. "AE" animal attacks shouldn't cause animal to agro on "innocent" bystander (and particularly not cause it to shift its attack priority).

This particular issue happens as often as those two beavers spawn and if you are unlucky enough to be standing there when it does, you are completely screwed. I don't even go to town anymore unless necessary. This SHOULD be a safe place for trade and conversation, but it's being abused by players. Those same players are profiting from this process and to me, it's a broken game mechanic.

Jerks are jerks and they are out there, but this issue is scaring off new players before they even have a chance to see the game. I would think the developers would care if they lose players and future funding because of this problem. There needs to be one safe place for the players.

This needs to be fixed. Guards are fine, but maybe an alternative of not allowing any animals into town would solve it.

For the main city to be a safe place, this is frustrating and wrong. Just lost hours and hours of work due to some random jerk I can't do anything about.

Don't worry, I hear Paradox is giving refunds.

dont think they would refund anything that he had since he did not pay real money for anything or if he had sounds like he had it on him for a long time...
