Kunitshoimb wrote:I honestly completely agree. A deer should not be able to take down a bear, period, not to mention the charge mechanic itself appears to be flawed. I can click the portrait of a deer repeatably to walk right next to the deer, however, the deer is able to charge from nearly no space at all. I can solo a bear, or 3 beaver but I can only kill every other deer? I feel like somethings in the wrong order here, personally I'd be far more afraid of a rampaging bear then a deer anyway.
Also, to anyone using the 'learn2fight' argument, should I honestly be able to kill a bear, or 3 beaver at a time with no problems whatsoever but have issue with nearly every other deer? Maybe you should make them walk faster but require a good distance to charge, anything below 3 tiles is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to stand right behind an animals ass to prevent being killed by it. . . not to mention if I run the deer has magical abilities to charge me down no-matter what if I wasn't in the forest. Field fighting deer with mediocre bile is like fighting a bear in haven without a boat or marksmanship early on.

Even if you're next to the deer they'll charge you sometimes, multiple times occasionally. I was able to kill a bear without taking a hit, but I literally get KO'd by every other deer I fight. Might just be a personal inability but I find them quite over-powered compared to pretty much anything else right now.

Dallane wrote:you need to learn to fight them because they don't charge from that distance. i kill them on a daily basis for the last few months and have never experienced this
