move wardrobe?

I am about to tear down a house that has a wardrobe inside. Will there anyway to move this once outside?

It must be empty and then you can move it. I can't recall if you can enter a house while carrying it, however.

I thought JC made it so you could move it out briefly to change houses, against his original idea.
