Ideas concerning GUI and controls:

- Make the hitbox of dropped items a little bit larger, or extend it to their whole model, since they can fall into structures, making it impossible to pick up.

- Add an option for item pickup during balancing on the edge of a cliff, with obvious chance of falling down.

- Assign a button for short range (~0.2 tile) item pickup action, because if one tries to pick up a large pile of dropped items, it can take a very long time, since the caracter often plays a stuck animation instead of the actual pickup, when clicking on a pile of items. Also, it is pretty hard to click on something under the feet of the character.

- Make the crafting terminal stay on the selected tab after picking a recipe, instead of returning to the main, or just make it an optional setting, since it would be very helpful for anyone browsing recipes.

- Make the clients remember the last GUI placement (every time I log in, I have to pull the map out of the corner, because it overlaps with the inspiration table).

- Make the red X on the minimap appear in top of everything, since every items lying around can cover it.

- Change the red X on the minimap for an arrow, showing where the character is facing, which could help anyone reorienting the camera.

- Add buttons to instantly switch the camera towards cardinal directions.

- Many flowers and some other small forageables are very hard to click on, because of their small size. It would be good, if when howering the mouse over them, their contours would became highlighted to help clicking on their hitboxes.

- Add an option to disable actions, like "Make Homestead" or "L3wt". Picking items by clicking them on the minimap one can easily misclick a Lean-to and trigger any of the mentioned action accidentally.


That's all I can think of right now, I hope these ideas are useful and don't offend anyone.

This.

Enders client (and because of that also Latikais iirc) already offer this, 4 directions every 90°, but unfortunately 45° off the actual directions like north, south,...
Which is unfortunately not really helpful.

But I guess that would be better aimed at Ender, as he made that, and might be willing to adjust it, I doubt JC will do such things with the client.
Need something? Here is my Shop (Including some useful info for new/returning players at the bottom of the first post)

a lot of those things are actually already part of the custom clients. ****** JC enough about and he might incorporate them into the default.

Perfect! Stay tuned for this tonight :) Hopefully I should launch my plug-in system tonight, and this will be a nice demo usage.

Right click with Image Gardener Shovel on pot to take out humus. Just in case you've put wrong one and don't want to wait for someting grows on it...

allow us to "pick" a gardening pot, even if it is not fully grown yet (returning the single item). Of course, there'd be issues with people grinding top boosts on this like yellow roses. No quick solution for that, I think.
