Replace Java with whatever programming language the game source is made with.
Programming is all about logic, and unless the source is built like a maze made out of potatoes, then it is not hard to implement said system.

It's better to just say that you wont do it, or don't understand how to do it rather than saying it's too difficult because it's not.

It has already been said they wont do it because they don't like the system.

There was a thread about this awhile back and John gave reasons why he doesn't want to do this

Maybe he can reconsider since a lot of advanced players are asking for it and excited about this?

There are many other things we'd rather put that effort into first.

Seriously this new stuff like whales, expedition events, and ****** temporary servers are +- nice but this idea is critically important to the direct the future of the game. People chatting also keeps players playing and making additional plans on the game.

I'm quite aware of what you are saying, maybe you should elaborate on this to better explain for JC to change his mind. I have never had a issue with communication in haven or salem with this and haven there are around 100 people across an alliance. There are zero explanations as to why we need this other than "i'm too lazy to use skype".

If you want something like this to entice JC then you need to make a interesting Alliance system with pros and cons of joining an alliance. Just saying I want to make a chat room in game is not going to motivate him at all.

New idea: Temporarily ban players who don't monthly log in. That way they can misinform new players or increase the general dumbness and unpoliteness of this forum which is already high
