All and all guys i am just telling you how new people see the game, because i am new. These are just some of the turn off's that i have encountered for the game. In the end the veteran's/Mods of the game will always have more sway when it comes to game design and quality of life updates. Take this post with a grain of salt if need be.

It sounds as tho this was your hard lesson. Think of it this way tho. No matter what you owe the tax on an item. If you set something at 1000s you can only lower the price to a certain amount after that and that amount is to cover storage costs and tax owed to the king. Have not tested the exact amount but I think if you set an item at 100 silver the lowers you can place it is at 60 silver. So 35% you have to cover in tax and the rest you will get back in the stall. So if you look at it this way you can still use the stall as a storage but know that you will still have to pay for the safety of storing that item.

I appreciate the helpful tip. although i don't disagree with the tax at all, for the sol reason that its realistic. What is not realistic is not being able to take items out of the shop, that is all.

I think it is kind of realistic though depending on how you look at it. You do not sit in your stall and sell items all hours of the day. The system does or some imaginary character running the store. In real-life if you took some items to a store and asked for the shop owner to sell them on your behalf. If you came back the next day asked he give me the money from how many you sold plus all the others I can promise that shop owner would be a little upset and may even hold your inventory until you provided a bit of money. That rented stall basically works the same way you are signing up to dedicate yourself to selling those products.

I agree but it is a "player owned stall" implying that its rented and run by me. In terms of tax's they are applied when the sale is made not before. If we wanted to go even deeper there are plenty of vending machines that don't require personnel to run them that just sit back and sell things automatically. Although i think vending machines are a little advanced for this time period 8-) . but that is how i view it. Also that is what i think the tax was intended for in the first place.

Secondly, I don't believe you lose your stall if you die. I may be mistaken because I haven't had to deal with it but from my understanding you simply inherit the stall just like you can inherit Pclaims.

Oh look Claeyt made another post with zero game knowledge and wrong information. Awesome!

The stalls are ****** even to customers mainly because a quarter of them has no reasonable items for reasonable prices.

Just use the Trade Wind forum. It's also a part of the game =)

Essentially just ignore him. He constantly post wrong information and leads people down a very bad path in this game.
