If you were going to have a hunting melee weapon, it would be a spear.

weeb alert!

Sounds like a really OP way to make a sword

Hmm, maybe it could stack with sharpening whetstone or purity for a max of 20%? That way max value would be possible at 20% extra

100% false

99% ironic
Last times i heard only "this is not realistic bla bla bla bla bla". Of course all things in Salem are realistic ¦]
I heard "realistic" only when someone want make trash from idea.
Yes, all is codeable, but its could be difficult in some ways. I mean, i play now one other game, really good game etc. etc. but there we can buy gold bars...
-1g of gold have weight of 4kg
-10g have 8.3kg
-100g have 50kg
-1000g have 200kg
Its pretty funny in some way, but yes, this is so unrealistic - why this even exist you could say ¦]

Anyway, idea for make stackable sword is good, for end game... "temper iron" using steel can havent sense... SO GIVE US FURNANCE+ANVIL FOR IT, without need spent any materials, only coal and watter - but then will be "no, this is too easy, bad idea"

less than 1kg ? But ingame we make sword from 15kg of metal ¦] ¦]
Any aspect of this game cant be realistic.... beacouse this is only game :F
Make it realistic is too hard for code ¦]

You do need more than 1kg of iron to make a good steel sword because you lose some in the process of forging. But yeah you don't need 15kg unless you are a terrible blacksmith.

I'd hate to see the game get too far away from historical accuracy but there's plenty of weapons from the 16th and 17th centuries they could add.

When you make a burrito from a pot of beans do you use all the beans for this burrito?
