Dead players do not leave your friends list and will also show online but you are not able to message them. You get the message the person is not online. In addition their HS no longer works.
Something tells me that is how most people noticed. Tried to message him and got he was not online. Removed him from Kin then tried to add his HS to get that no one has that HS indicating he is either dead or changed it. I think a few people have noticed already that he was online for a very long time with the message the person is not online. So if he is not dead yet then he will be soon from madness. I think it comes down to someone admitting they did it or him telling us what happened or that like Russell Crowe or Brittany Spears he really is not dead and this is just a rumor mill.
