What's wrong with life? Are you perhaps suicidal? Seek help immediately if that's the case.

However for your first statement he would be indeed be a cunning dictator but pursuing his own agenda. If his agenda is close to his "huge plans" then it's gonna be hell to live in the US as a morally decent atheist. If it isn't, well what are they then? Again huge risk. And if he becomes a dictator then he wouldn't be easily removed from his oval throne.

I guess? But who is more competent?
And why would it be a living hell? I know he makes some loud statements sometimes, but if you listen to him explain things he doesn't sound unreasonable.
Well, the way I see it election campaigns are ***** anyways - who ever kept their word? Remember the anticipation of "change" people had when Obama was elected for the first time? It was like people expected a sudden miracle following him entering the office.
So all things considered Trump just seems the most capable of the bunch to me.

Obama didn't seem that bad to me. He did try to make some changes but then I'm probably not competent enough to judge, I havent' paid so much attention to his politics.

Just waiting for a Julius Caesar for America. The republic is a shell; military dictatorship will save the West.

I am not saying he is bad.
I am saying, that people expect a drastic change once new president is in the office.
Be it good or bad, it's perceived as a something of a breaking point.
The same thing is happening now. I bet there are people who are not joking about leaving US for good should Trump win.
While in truth only lengthy exposure will tell whether there was any difference at all.

Hey I wouldn't go that far as to leave my home country if a guy like Trump would win (in France it would be Le Pen). I would wait a year to see if the situation has degraded drastically or not.
I mean I'm already leaving France anyway but for my pHd not because of political reason ;p.

If the degree is useful I'd just leave Europe in general. Avoiding the West in general is a good idea as the prospect of war breaking out in the next fifty years seems evident. Canada might have **** social policies, along with Australia, but they are both unlikely of getting dragged into a home-front war.

I'm actually possibly going to Montreal in Canada for a pHd on Game Studies (basically studying video games through the perspective of human sciences). Hard to find a job in France with that (not really institutionalized) while it's booming in North America with professorship positions opening all over the continent.
