Is there any chance that every one could start adding more and more of there findings and H&N they currently have. spaces from walls, fences, buildings, sawbucks, PAVED or non paved ground flat or non flat. Or even start in another area of the forums away from Announcements section? Just how large the area you used, maybe a format such as this...

1) Large Paved or non paved area (Dirt) 10x10 or what ever
2) Walled or Fenced in area (and is there any thing in the area other than the doors and walls?)
3) Spaces from the walls fences and the other wood piles
4) Time it took from the final construction of the wood pile to the collect board stage (AND what you might have done to speed up the process if any)
5) How many piles you created and when you gathered what was the Dried as to the useable.
6) What is your current Hammer & Nail skill when you did all this?

I figure the more and more information we all contribute in one area with out all the other commits, just report there findings nothing more would help one another, just a little hard to weed out all the posts of what players did do get there results. Please add as much information for others player as you can.

Would be nice if a saw reduced the phlegm drain of board cutting @_@
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Something more akin to how the pickaxe works on stone. (Edit: as in speed, at moment its 15% per tick with an axe, with a pickaxe is 30% per tick)

In more general feedback, something needs to be done about the way wood works, the entire process is a 'grind and wait' we suppose to be making boards, not getting bored.

Chopping tree - too long
Chopping 40 boards - too long
Board drying - too long
Too long - Bored

Throw into that having to chop wood for coal piles, I swear today all I've done is chop wood.
They say crafting mmo -- its chopping wood mmo.

I'm not against the 5 day wait time. The difficulty in creating the wood for the wall justifies the wall being *significantly* better than stone hedges. If anything, you can spend your time making more piles while waiting for them to dry.

Honestly? I know it's a pain, but it means that the result can be sufficiently powered up as to be worthwhile.

If making this wall takes this long, I hate to see what the plans are for the next one. :(

No more wall spammers then? I like it:)

5 days waiting is fine just like Sevenless said and people crying about chopping boards please try again and learn how to build timber piles.
Someone said that 100 H&N gave him ~25% chance to upgrade boards it is not much if we consider better inspirationals and wood purity that will come in time.
I hope that next walls will be even harder to build and much harder to destroy.

I like ideas that makes industry more complicated, but looking few minutes for same animation is boooring WTB saw too + steel axe to chop trees faster :)

Oh come on, let's be fair here. It's whatever you choose to spend your time doing. For me, it's the spend all day preparing food that will be eaten up in 5 minutes MMO.
