Edit: Also, were defenses added to the town under his tenure? That is effectively spending money on others. I'm not even taking sides. Just wondering.

There is very few defenses done and at least the materials were not made by him.He assisted on wrought but i dont believe any of them made it into braziers as they were used for steel & sheds that he had commanded to be made. Austen made em. The witch doll i am unsure. Will ask Austen about it.

Austen made a brick wall surrounding an area with sheds & pots that would once ready be locked for only Spence to use It never got locked because Austen did not make the gate for lack of steel.The steel Spencer had made i have no clue where it went. Sure as heck didnt go into the town.

I lived a situation very similar in Roanoke, when i was starting to build Timber Trails with a good philipino friend, Martinuzz original group had a very demanding guy, he wanted to rule everyone's time and asked everyone for "favours". Such as gathering 80 hay for smelters, building walls, flattening land, getting ingredients for HIS ***** food, boring and stupid **** like that, but since we were newbies he used it as a way to teach us how to do stuff.

I remember one day he was flattening land with my friend and asked me to join, i just grabbed a chair and sat under a tree, his rage was hilarious and he left the same day with martinuzz, leaving me alone to rule over timber trails until i got bored and went on to follow my adventures on Jamestown, good days indeed.

I also remember a conversation we had where i told him there is a difference between a leader and a dictator, he just replied with
"You want to be the mayor, but you don't want to command, lol". After this, people that joined timbertrails i just left them to do whatever they wanted to while answering questions they may had. Many quit, others stayed, but at least i knew it wasn't because of me.

I guess the lesson is to just play the way you want to play and ***** everyone else. If you don't like your group make other friends to join or make your own group, it's sad that you had to kill him like that but w.e, everyone has their own sense of justice, i have also killed some former townmates because they take important stuff or simply because other group was after their head, it's a part of the game.

Having an autocratic ****** leader (as you MAY have had some days, or nor, Idk) is not a good excuse to kill a high developed character. Your townmates (4 more?) are probably not with you by now since you sold the base to Judaism (?).

Even if your mayor were repeteadly stealing townmates important items couldn't you just destroy the bell and put one over to "free" the slaves? Again I'm not that sure with such few info but this appear to be a greedy way to deal with things...

Alot of people feelin need to post about somethin they dont know or understand. Anyways i was never mayor or had any real power in elysburg/new castle. I helped a townmate take over the town. Provided info & silver. Since then a kkk affiliated person knocked down the bell as he had rights (was a member of the town) judaism then eminent domained my pclaim & i paid a ransom to get my character out of there. We never intended to keep it and were waiting on Aerow to return. When theese events occurred. No active players have been killed by judaism.
