No, it all comes down to your humors (mostly) and your mining set (slightly), it does not make sense at all.

Level 1: One boulder costs 7.6 Phlegm
Level 2: One boulder costs 13.2 Phlegm
Level 3: One boulder costs 22.7 Phlegm
Level 4: One boulder costs 30.2 Phlegm
Level 5: One boulder costs 37.8 Phlegm
Level 6: One boulder costs 47.3 Phlegm
Level 7: One boulder costs 52.9 Phlegm

And yeah, yeah, I know you should have a better suit by the time to get to level 7, but this is just for illustration of a point.

I'm certainly open to discussion on the subject. But this indeed really doesn't seem all that bad.

With a 500+ humors char you can mine several times faster than with a char that just has 50 humors,
I understand you really want to impose the "joys" of gluttony upon each and every pilgrim, but if you are not happy with how the system is used, maybe you should change the system instead of doing things like this?!

I understand that you want progress in metal % to be not easily achieved, BUT this was never the case anyways since the last change to it AND it does do nigh nothing to existing players whereas it cripples any new players.

TL;DR:
- This change does nothing to established player
- This only cripples new players, keeping them from catching up

A new player is not going to catch up to anybody on farming, worm purity, pot purity, turkey purity, etc? Nor do they have to since they can simply trade for higher purity goods until they establish the point they wish to be at. Since purity is indeed somewhat capped I see no reason for me to care if people can 'catch up' as everybody 'ends up' at the same place in a VERY reasonable amount of time. For those who want to 'race' there is an expedition always on the horizon where everybody will be on the same footing when it comes to this.

There is little to no benefit to have massive dug out mines on super deep levels other than the original investment made to reach the wall of that level. And mine purity has outpaced the other purities and needed to be significantly slowed down ever since its inception. This is not some conspiracy theory to 'force' players to gluttony. I don't feel I need to 'force' players to advance their characters as players who have chosen NOT to advance their characters are clearly handicapping only themselves when it comes to hunting, carry weight, stamina, swim distances, jump distances, study caps, inspiration returns & more. NOT advancing your character will nerf you infinitely harder than a few extra phlegm points while mining. Noobs have no business being on lower levels of mines and can get as much ore as they want from the first level. Tea and phlegm food still makes mining a ridiculously easy joke and I"m far more likely to raise phlegm to 100 or 200 phlegm a boulder so that difficulty is capped on character max stats and not how much food you can spam far before I would be inclined to allow strip mining bottom levels of mines for some purpose that nobody has yet to articulate to me why it even matters in the first place. A single ore node in the lower level of my mine provided me enough knife blades for like 10,000 steaks so again, there is no reason to be spamming mining on a lower level.

I think I like it as a build-able storage more.

New Skill: Nut Orchards: Required to plant nut trees.

Players may now plant Chestnuts, Pine Nuts, Hickory Nuts, and Walnuts directly.
Legacy cuttings from these trees have been left intact and will work the way they did but for the time being they are legacy. Chestnuts, Spruce Trees, Hickory Trees & Walnut Trees should no longer offer the ability to strike cuttings as they are now plantable with their nuts.
Myrtle Acorn Bushes now replenish in the same manner as all nut trees.

There will be a problem with the walnuts as the trees gave only 1 nut and 2 cuttings. That means now we will have to choose to plant the nut or to eat it. Would be possible to get at least 2 nuts / tree ?

Thank you for all the great job you did. I can't wait to test all theses changes :)
