What was the planting time, early AM? What was the harvest time, late PM? How many hours have been lost to server downtime? I think calculating an extra day on the calendar is pretty close to 4 months of continuous server runtime.

I think the downtime was around 3% orso, if that is the case, we are looking at several days even.

Although I do admit some weird stuff comes up.

Mind checking cotton fields? those were always a sure crash in the olden days, when you had a coulpe of 100 fields in your view.

Cotton plants aren't the worst thing in the world, but yeah, regarding their amount of the fields, they could use less triangles for leaves... like, 2 triangles for each leave and alpha-blend mask on texture to shape leaves (most of the trees in game are using this), I do believe it's 5 times less of lags.

But let's talk about radish. It's gorgeous. Sad that it's most beautiful part is hidden underground.

Even the hidden root of the radish is being simulated to perfection... Salem is truly a game of endless detail ¦]

Just do the freelancer a favor and teach him that making 3d objects for games requires minimizing the number of polygons where possible. The poor guy doesn't seem to know it. I'm sure this basic knowledge would greatly help him in the future.
