I've chipped over 150 and not gotten any. Will try more later.

A geode is even alot more rare than 1/150. Chipping a couple builders won't get you one, they're likely to be harder than 1/1000.

Its easy to get geodes them. I will give you directions.

1: purchase a nice bottle of scotch, port, or whiskey.
2: purchase a few perdomo habano cigars.
3: put on netflix or music.
4: sip the drink and smoke the cigar while chipping stone.

If you perform these steps and make it half-way through the bottle you will find you have a lot of geodes or that you have fallen out of your chair. But really doesn't take anything but a little old fashioned alcohol fueled perseverance.

I just chipped 5k rubble, so to give you an idea:
1 amethyst
7 geodes
10 whetstones

Seems I was pretty unlucky on geodes though. I definitely remember them being more common than this.

Did you smoke and drink while doing it. That seems to increase the success rate or decrease the time perceived doing the chipping. Not sure haven't tested it enough.

after i post that i look back at my screen and i have one lol

That breaks down to one of the basic rules of gaming: smokers/drinkers may not be the best, but they have the most fun at it.
