Nice one, a single tomato (fruit, not a bush) has over 1000 polygons ^^

holy crap... just for example, this is a Zombie model i use for my game, it has 1028 polygons but its a real 3d livesize guy with 28 animations not a simple tomato lol

I am very conscientious of my vertex usage. We aren't against updating models, and this very issue was why you all have new holiday tables to feast on.

Idk off hand how many vertices they have, but it's likely that they need to be redone. Spheres are notorious for utilizing an absurd number of vertexes. Mine are always reduced (which makes them more "blocky" technically but usually not enough to notice, especially if they're that small). If I'm not mistaken, the tomato plant was one of our earliest outsources while I was still learning the ins and outs of blender. We may not have even been versed enough at the time to appreciate the issue they may cause.

Current implementations have much more quality control than our earliest objects, needless to say. Much more attention to phallic imagery.
