Now from the game and building the Lumber Piles as per the TOOL TIP "A Timber Pile is used to dry boards for more demanding building projects. The pile needs to be placed well away from other objects to reduce the risk of mold growth" please clarify "OBJECTS" water, buildings, walls, paved ground? Objects with in the game can be anything or am I wrong here?
As I mentioned before, we ALL here are BETA TESTERS (Closed BETA) Is it not our responsibility to find errors, problems with in the game and report these to the developers, so that they can make the corrections needed to increase the FUN FACTOR and thus keep future players interested in the game.I am not trying to start a forum fire here, or start the forum trolls on there rampage(FAT CHANCE OF THAT) but just bring one aspect that was added to the attention of the developers and hopefully get some changes made.If you the reader feels that this is a rant or whining that is your opinion and you are entitled to it.

The beauty of this game is in the exploration of both the world and its mechanics. I don't want to know the answers to the questions you ask. I want to build multiple piles in multiple places under multiple experiments and discover those answers for myself. Perhaps you should just come back when somebody has written a wiki with all the answers for you. I believe you will soon realize that the changes you are asking for are the desires of the MINORITY group in this niche.

Mister Chief, since when you are in the majority?

Ah, I see, you work tirelessly to get rid of everyone else, and THEN you will be majority :D

If indeed we are usability testers, we can certain judge the game mechanics based on how well they operate for the purposes we use them for without knowing the design intentions. Knowing the intended mechanism for mold production is fine to see if the devs screwed up the code, but we are more useful to them if we can demonstrate that the designed mechanism breaks something else about the game or radically changes the minimum useful claim size.

the "not" makes perfect sense given the form of the question.

I've always considered that when money is changing hands then its a product not a test, while I understand its in development and have accepted as such, I don't feel its my responsibility to beta test anything quite frankly, I didnt sign a beta agreement nor was I ask too. Im playing the game like many others, and like many others have paid more than I usually would for a game.

That being said however, knowing how new features work is important if you don't want to start pissing people off especially when they have to wait 5 days only to realise that because a feature was not explained properly, they have wasted a lot time over it.

I'm not here to spend a month fine tuning how best to dry boards, I don't buy the 'figuring out' part either, once its has been figured out it will be put on the wiki and everyone will know, so it doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

I'm sorry everything wasn't handed to you on a platter. Hopefully the challenge of actually working for your answers excites you instead of frustrates you.

Oh! Yeah I didn't catch that either sab XD Was confused.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Hmm how do you know if the pile is ready for "harvesting"? Does it look any different? Do you harvest it with right click, like charcoal pile?
I still can't interact with my board pile, and I have built it on nov 15th.
