2.) How high can upkeep go?
2)600%
Thanks for all that info, though I dare to say 600% is much too much without anything better than wood choppings.
...inb4 people putting up alts near other peoples bases to harass them with crows.

JohnCarver wrote:There may very well be an issue with putting fields back to correct upkeep. I'm going to investigate it, I had assumed it would work as intended because it is quite frankly the same exact implementation as when a Witch does it. Then I realized the very real probability that perhaps no witch has learned to cast that spell yet or done so frequently enough, and thus it was never reported it to me.
While I'm 'open' to a non 'pay-wall' option to dealing with crows. I'm not 100% sold it HAS to exist either. Spawn rates may be too high. But I see nothing inherently wrong with players 'hearing" a crow and then becoming frustrated that they are now forced to divert their attention towards their fields to make sure one is not getting them. I see a problem only if it is correct that the frequency in which this happens is too high. However, I have no scarecrow and I have yet to have a crow successfully get my fields. So until it actually starts bothering me as a player there is a fair probability it won't get adjusted down.
