honeymilk wrote:It started about a week ago, in the beginning it took 2-3 hours before the big lag spikes and the heap space error happened. I uninstalled the 32 bit java 8.66 version and installed java 7.79 64 bit as that was the fix of a memory issue a few months ago. Nothing changed, still took 2-3 hours before the crash. Tried all java versions since then.
Windows did an automatic upgrade(not updates, but an actual upgrade) to windows around this time, I have already used system recovery to go back to before the crashes started, no change. Its a 'clean' PC that was factory reset a month or so ago so not any unnecessary background programs. Done a temp file cleanup and been running CCleaner in case it was a memory issue with the actual computer. Still no change.
I have tried .bat file to give java more memory. I've also tried this through java control panel after some google searching. Still nothing.
I can open and log in without any issues on any client. In about a weeks time its gone from crashing every 2-3 hours to every 1-5 minutes. Maybe 10 minutes if I am lucky, the more I do ingame, the quicker it happens. it doesnt matter where in the game I am, it happens. Even in a mine without much room just chipping rubble all by my lonesome.
I am not using a VPN client and do not have citrix running.
I am honestly not sure what you mean by page file, I do not own knowledge about a PC at all so I'll copy it all and hopefully thats what you meant![]()
Its a desktop:
GPU: GeForce GTX 770
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Memory: 16 GB RAM (15.94 GB usable)
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

Well, seriously, I would not be surprised if it has something to do with windwos 10, but it's probably not that.
Just to make sure, I know, asking the dumb questions:
- Do you have some free space on you hard drive?
- Could it be that it is caused by a badly written virus or malware or else? (use malewarebytes anti maleware to scan your PC)
- As for the 64 bit java, did you uninstall the old one before? You may very well have several java versions on you machine. Check the path in the environment variables.
