I would like to point that this guy was given the opportunity to go to The Reservation where he would be showered with gifts from our raids and protected from the scum of Salem. Instead of using that opportunity he insisted on butchering Mother Natures Tree LIVE on twitch.tv for the entire world to see. I do not understand how anybody could find his actions deserving any less than the punishment he received.

Well his Pioneer's back was waiting for him @ the Reservation. Unfortunately this is a shining example that some squatters are just too stupid to be helped . Hence the necessity for scalpings.

I would like to point that this guy was doing a live stream with a developer interview, trying to showcase the game to the outside world and attract some well deserved interest. However the mood abruptly took a twist when you decided to callously kill this guy live on air without reason or provocation. Just a prime example of the types of 'children' that play this game and every viewer is probably never going to forget that event, which is perma-death.

The person doing the live stream took not a moment to visit the forums and/or familiarize himself with a game that is built around a community and in the end one that thrives and lives on a player base of "drama". Justice was served.

This game doesn't need another video showcasing how to chop down a tree for 30 minutes. But the world does need a game where crimes like the ones you witnessed are not only are possible but exist and are taking place daily... and that my friends is what the world of twitch.tv just saw.

Community involvement is good. It just would have been nice if the guy himself would have known about the forums too so perhaps he could have seen what he was in for and, therefore, contracted Mushi or somebody to guard the livestream itself. I can only imagine how cool a noob would think the game was if the guy streaming hired a body-guard to allow him to broadcast.
