What you are saying wont work does indeed work in HnH with non of the problems you mentioned. To say this is stupid is well retarded as ***** since you are ignoring why this wouldn't actually work.
Unfortunately it wouldn't work with game due to how it has been set up with the shop, need for NPCs, other fun parts of Boston and her outposts. It would also be much less newbie friendly. There is a big need for the town on a base mechanical level. I think it would be a fun experiment to have on a future expedition.
